Photo Guest Book!

I am so very excited about a new product I’m offering to all of my brides and grooms.  It’s a fabulous photo guest book!

I got my first guest book sample in this week from Finao, an awesome modern album company that I use for most of my album needs.

The guest book is basically a flush-mount album with photos from your engagement session on one side, and blank pages on the opposite side for all of your guests to sign on the wedding day.

There are all sorts of choices you can make for your guest book.  They come with white or black pages and come in a variety of sizes and capacities.  There is no shortage of cool cover options, from faux suedes to modern eclectic patterns.   One of the reasons I love Finao is because of all of their brightly colored cover options!  This sample is a 6×9 inch horizontal book with white pages and a silk brocade cover (called Mimosa!  awesome!).

The photo guest book is a great keepsake from your wedding day and a unique way to showcase images from your engagement session.

Fun New Product – Accordion Wallets!

I absolutely adore this new product I’m offering!   It’s an accordion wallet book!

The accordion wallet comes in two different sizes – 3×3 inch square or 2.5×3.5 inch.  There are 17 options for covers – an array of colors offered in cloth or faux leather.

Shown here are books using images from Christina and Darrell’s wedding and Jack’s portrait session.   These are great as wedding party gifts, gifts for parents, and gifts for grandparents.  They can be displayed or carried around so that you can show everyone you know!

Portrait Session Books

I am so excited to now be offering books from portrait sessions!   Books are great gifts, and great ways to remember wonderful little moments in time.

There are so many  options for sizes, colors and types of books – the sky’s the limit!

Shown next is a sample flush-mount album from Mason’s portrait session.  It’s a 5×5 inch square book with a faux leather cover.   High-quality photographic prints are mounted onto thick stock.  I really love this type of book – its small, cute, and a great way to display a bunch of photos from your session in a fun, creative way!

Shown next are two other types of book.  The one on the left from Brendan’s portrait session is a traditional matted album.  It has a blue fabric back cover with an acrylic front cover.  There are a zillion different options for covers – canvas with an image printed on it, acrylic, fabric, patterned fabric, faux leather, etc.  Mats can be black or white.  This type of album comes in two different sizes – 9×9 inch square or 12×12 inch square.  On the right you will see a coffee table book from Katie, Ryan and Their Parents’ Portrait Session.  Coffee table books are awesome because they have a wonderful bright photo printed on the front (as seen in the center) and come in many different shapes and sizes.

I am really excited about all of these books!  Books are a great way to have a collection of images that act like a time capsule – the imagery tells the story of your child or family in an artistic, personal way.  Please drop me a line if you have any questions about the books!

Sample Wedding Albums

In addition to working on studio portraits of toys during the off season, I’ve spent a great deal of time designing fun new sample products to offer to clients.

I have three different types of wedding albums that will now accompany all of my wedding packages.

The first is a flush-mount album.  With every wedding package you get a 30 page credit for this album should you choose this type.  The flush mount albums come in a variety of sizes, with every sort of cover you can imagine (fabrics, leathers, faux leathers, patterns, metals)!  Flush mount means that high quality photographic prints are mounted directly onto a thick stock so that the album is very robust (and heavy!).   The sample shown here is an 8×12 inch horizontal book with a two-tone (faux leather) cover featuring a photo insert.  Since this album was from Caitlin and Sam’s wedding, I decided to match the cover to Caitlin’s wedding colors.

The second type of album I am offering is a coffee table book – its like an art book featuring your wedding!   As with the flush mount albums, you get a 30 page credit for this book should you choose this option.  Coffee table books are lighter and less cumbersome than the flush mount albums (and can be kept either on your coffee table, or on a book shelf).   They are also fun because without purchasing an album upgrade, you can get a huge photo on the front of your book!  Like the flush mount albums, the coffee table books come in different sizes.   Shown here is a square 10×10 inch album from Christina and Darrell’s wedding.

Finally, if you are interested in something more traditional, you can purchase a matted album.    You can choose a 9×9 inch or a 12×12 inch book.  There are fun cover options, like acrylic and leather, or, as featured here, an image printed on canvas.  Matted albums can be chosen with black or white mats, and with or without photo covers.  You are more limited with layouts if you opt for a matted album, but if you are looking for something classic, this might be the option for you!  Since we had such fun taking photos of Kande and Mike’s first glance, I thought it would be fun to design a sample featuring just photos of them!
